"Holiday Tag Series" - Tag #1

I'm all done with photo shoots for the rest of the year, which has opened up a bit of time for me to play in my scrap room :-)  YEA!!!!  I can't tell you how excited that makes me.  I'm so far behind in all of my projects and blog reading... but I've been managing to find time to go shopping.  Funny how that works right?  Not only has my crafting suffered, but my house has as well :-(  I'm so far behind on laundry, I'm on the verge of either taking it all to a laundromat just so I can get it all done in a few hours, or simply just going and buying new clothes :-(  I did manage, however, to spend my entire day last Saturday cleaning my house, so now my schedule is wide open :-)

First thing on the "To-Do" list was to make some gift tags for holiday presents this year.  Again, I've been suffering from some "crafter's block" due to the hiatus for a few months, so I turned to the internet for some inspiration.  I'm a follower of Lori Whitlock's Blog and just LOVE her designs.  With the half-price sale last week at the Silhouette store, I managed to stock up on some of my favorite designs of hers.  One of her design team members came up with these adorable gift tags, and I just fell in love with them!  Had to make them myself :-)  I did manage to change things up just a bit, but overall I would say they're definitely heavily inspired by hers.

Here's a list of supplies I used:

Let me know if you have any questions, and be sure to stop back for Tag #2!

Thanks for visiting :-)
