Let It Snow - First Holiday Card Tutorial

Taking a quick break from the holiday tags as I was DYING to play with my new markers and make a card!

I'm not quite comfortable yet with my alcohol markers, and the first few attempts at coloring/blending were a complete disaster!  I'm using Bazzill Ultra Smooth white cardstock, which I heard works beautifully with Copics, but it was just not cooperating with me.  I decided to keep it simple and just do some old fashioned "try and stay in the lines" coloring.

Here's what I used:

  • Card Base: White Georgia-Pacific cardstock (the stuff from Wally World)
  • Solid Color Layers: Recollections Cape Cod Value Pack
  • Patterned Paper: DCWV Artic Wishes Matstack
  • Digital Stamp: Snowman Snapshot (freebie from Whimsie Doodles)
  • Digi Stamp Paper: Bazzill Ultra Smooth White Cardstock
  • Spectrum Noir Markers
  • Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Stardust Pen
  • Recollections Adhesive Rhinestones - Blue assortment
  • Tonic Snowflake Punch
  • Hero Arts Holiday Sayings Christmas Stamp Set
  • Amy R Stamps Big Christmas Wishes
  • CTMH Outdoor Denim Ink
  • Zing Embossing Powder (it's a light aqua color... I'm not sure of the exact name)

Thanks for watching, and as always... if you have any questions, please leave me a comment :-)
