I "Jumped On The Bandwagon"

Project Life is all over the place these days.  I first learned about it over on the Two Peas In A Bucket forums, and since them I've started seeing it pop up in blogs, stores carrying products for it, and all over YouTube.  I think it's an ingenious way to scrapbook for those of us who don't have time to do full layouts.  Plus, they're not really "themed" the way I imagine traditional scrapbooking layouts to be.... they're random, just like life.

Now, you can buy the pre-made kits (they have a bunch of different themes), but I choose to do a DIY version.  If I can maintain it until the end of the year, then I might go ahead and buy a kit for 2013.  In the meantime, I'm using up scraps from my stash, digi papers with my Cameo, and a crazy amount of stamps and home-made embelishments.  So far, it's not too bad.  I think it might be easier to use the pre-made kits, but doing it this way gives you a bit more freedom.

There really isn't a "recipe" for these pages, I kinda winged it.  Most of the cuts are from the Silhouette Store and from Kerri Bradford's online store

I saved a template in my Silhouette Designer Edition software so that all I have to do when I go do do a layout is open it up and fill it in :-)  Making things MUCH easier!

Oh, I almost forgot!  On a day that was pretty sucky here at Chez Rosie (last Tuesday when Hubby lost his job), I came home a lunchtime to find a package sitting on my counter.  Now, I know I hadn't ordered anything, so I had NO CLUE as to what it was.  The return address said "Two Peas In A Bucket" and I couldn't for the life of me remember if I had accidentally ordered anything or what.  Well, I ripped it open to find this....

I had completely forgot that I had entered a giveaway over on the Two Peas In A Bucket website for their CHA week!!  I won the Technique Tuesday/Ali Edwards giveaway!!  HOW COOL IS THAT!?!?!  These stamps are PERFECT for Project Life, and actually the journaling cards were made for it.  I was SOOOOO excited!  I actually used a couple of the stamps already, and I. AM. IN. LOVE!  They go perfectly with the stamps and cards that I got during my last Archiver's visit

REMEMBER....

If you'd like to get your very own "It's Your Day" National Stamping Month promo stamp set, all you have to do is place a $35 order over on my shopping site (www.createdbyrosie.ctmh.com) and add it to your cart at the checkout.  It's a GREAT deal for only $5! The promo is running until September 30th, but once they're gone they're gone.... so you may want to snag a set while you can!
If you're interested in getting this set for yourself, you can join my gathering until August 28th over on my CTMH Shopping Site (www.createdbyrosie.ctmh.com), and click the "Join" button next to my gathering listing.

I've got more projects for you coming this week, so stay tuned :-)  Hope everyone is having a GREAT Tuesday!
