That's what I've been trying to do lately. CREATE! It seems like all I've been doing is shopping... Lol. I've got a bunch of projects in the works, but haven't had a solid amount of time to work on them. That's one of the reasons for this project. It's a reminder of why I have all the goodies that I do.... so that I can actually CREATE things :-)
I used the directions from the CTMH Spellbound Workshop On The Go Kit (G1040) to make this banner. I didn't want to start cutting into the gorgeous paper without a trial run first, so I thought it would be good to make something to decorate my little crafty space with :-)
Pardon the mess, but I just got home and was putting stuff away (yes... I went shopping... AGAIN!). All the cuts came from the CTMH Artiste Cartridge (pennants, letters, circles/scallops, and roses), and I used some jewelry jump rings to attach them together. I did a bit of stash diving and used an old ColorBok paper pad I had as well as some AC pastel cardstock. Add in a bit of ribbon from my stash and it was ready to go. I'm thinking I may add to it over time... like start attaching some flub cuts that I hate to throw away, or some of the coloring practice items. We'll see. For now, I wanted to get it up and off the work desk so I can work on other things and not ruin it.
I've got a fun-filled weekend ahead of me... with nothing but crafting in my sights. I've got a bunch of projects to finish up, as well as some I have to start. I'm so far behind in my Project Life that I'm thinking it would be easier to just skip a few weeks and start again from the beginning of this month :-/. Cards for some kids in the family, as well as a "commissioned" job for my Aunt. I've got a LOT of work to do :-)
Until later my scrappy friends.... Hope everyone has a great Friday!
Fabulous Jess - this is one of things I want to get done for my crafty space - a lovely banner. TFS
