** I'd like to start off by apologizing for not having better details for you on my upcoming projects. I was in such a hurry to get them done that I didn't have a chance to write anything down. **
One of the (many) projects I whipped up over the past week or so is an adorable birthday card for my nephew who just turned 4.
Keeping with the "Alien Invasion" theme, I decided to do a little guy from the Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge. This was a 5" x 7" card base left over from the invites, and I used the one spots folder (can't remember the name) in my Cuttlebug. Added a yellow ribbon and embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder and my VersaMark stamp pad. Popped him up on some Pop Dots and added some googly eyes. He LOVED the card!
Now it's off to edit the gazillion photos from the party. Going to be a long nite! Be back tomorrow with another awesomely cute project for ya!
Great card - I bet your nephew loved it:-) TFS

DeleteI am having a bad day and decided that a little blog hopping would restore my faith in the crafty world! So glad I came here-- my first stop, in fact-- because this little guy really made me smile! I love the colors and the alien invasion theme too!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! And I am a sucker for googly eyes! Happy B-day to your nephew. Four is such a fun age!!
Thanks Nadia! He LOVED the card and "mom" said it was going in his birthday album.
DeleteHow wonderful! I absolutely love this card, and I'm sure he got a kick out of it as well. Love the colors of the paper and the googly eyes really add to it. Thanks for sharing it! :)
