First Video!!!! - Big Haul from Michael's, Hobby Lobby & JoAnn's

Well, I did it!!!!  My first ever VIDEO!!!!  WOOT WOOT!!  GO ME!!  Lol.  I tried to use my DSLR camera to do a video last week, but the lens was trying to continually focus and it was driving me nuts!  I was about to throw in the towel on videos, at least until I could sell a kidney and buy a real digital camcorder, but when I was cleaning up my office last night I found my trusty regular, point-and-shoot digital camera.  Honestly, "Bella" has made me even forget I had it!  Tried it out on a few things last night and figured I would give it a shot.

Weather today in Cleveland was cold, wet, and cloudy.  Only thing to do is to go shopping right??  Actually, I really wasn't planning on getting much today, just the black cardstock I completely out of.  Low and behold.... a haul happened....






Let me know your thoughts on the video.  I was nervous and this was about the 10th time I filmed it because it took me a couple of tries to figure out how to not have my head to keep getting in the way.  Then, the task was figuring out how to edit it.  Hubby is the videographer in the house (he was an instructor at a broadcasting school for TV and radio, as well as an on-air DJ for a Cleveland radio station), but I couldn't wait until tomorrow when he would have time to do it for me.  Thankfully my PC came with a fairly easy to figure out video editing program, so I winged it. 

Hope you all enjoy!!!  Please leave me feedback! That's the only way I can improve :-)  If this turns out well, I'm seeing a bunch  of videos in my future :-)  G'Nite all!!!

    Love it! Great job and keep them coming. :) You did quite the haul and I loved seeing all the paper. Was also nice to "see" you as well. Haha. :)

    You did an amazing job. Are you sure this is your first video? Jk. I can't wait to go to HL tomorrow and get some of those designer paper packs. Wait, HL is closed on Sundays. :( I hope they still have the 50% sale on Monday *sigh*

      Thanks Cynthia!! Yup, that was my very FIRST one, but I'm too much of a perfectionist so it took a couple of tries to finally nail it. So, technically it was my first video but the tenth time I filmed it. Lol.

      I dunno if they'll be in sale for 50% off come Monday, but you can alway use a 40% off coupon if it isn't :-)

    Wow, that is great for your first video, keep them coming. I love it when Hobby Lobby has their 50%off paper. I am a paperaholic and I go crazy. Looks like you had lots of fun.

      Thanks Diana! I'm quicking finding that paper is my downfall. Can't ever seem to have enough. And wouldn't it just figure... when I go to do something, I don't have what I'm looking for. Ha ha ha

    Great video. Interesting and your voice is easy to listen to. No hemming and hawing. Love seeing haul videos too. Keep them coming. I will be waiting. Melissa

    You did a great job for your first video. I went a little crazy buying paper at the HL 50% off sale. My craft stores get cleared out of clearance stamps before I get there.

      Thanks! All my local stores sell out of clearance stuff really quickly too :-( My JoAnn's is the one attached to their corporate headquarters and they RARELY have much clearance. When I do find it though, I tend to go nuts!!
