Not Too Sick To Shop

I've been hit with a nasty sinus infection that has rendered me practically useless over the past few days.  Woke up with a sore throat on Tuesday and it's been downhill from there.  Between the pounding headaches and the "medicine head" feeling from all the cold pills and antibiotics, I've barely gotten myself dressed and to work every day this week.  Hopefully it's just from the change in weather (and grass-cutting season in full swing) and I'll pass in a few days.  In the meantime, my couch has become my new home.

Hubby was determined to get me out of the house today to get me some "fresh air," so we hopped into the car and ventured out to a mall that in my 25 years of living in the Cleveland area, I had never been too.  He needed to go visit one of his newly-opened stores (he's a warehouse manager for a tile store), and managed to bribe me by telling me I could spend some $$.  I've been too sick to do laundry, clean the house, and even craft.... but not to shop apparently.  I had completely forgot that there is an Archiver's by the mall, and since I had never been to one, I was in.  Downed a few more pills, grabbed my tissues, and off we went.

Such a GREAT store!!  I could have spent all day (and all my $$) there!!  Definitely going to be on my "monthly field trip" list :-)

Off to go take some more meds and try to get to sleep.  G'nite everyone!
