Holy "Crap On A Cracker" (as Penny from The Big Bang Theory would say)!!! Where have I been? It seems like FOREVER since I've had a post. Well, not forever but it's been almost 2 weeks since my last "real" post! Man does the time fly!
Between me being sick, Hubby dealing with some medical issues (yup... he's got a colonoscopy tomorrow morning... YUCK!), work driving me nuts, editing photos, and doing some massive spring cleaning around my house, I've been one busy chica!
Hubby and I spent our entire Memorial Day weekend cleaning the cars, shampooing carpet, and gutting our garage. Let's just say we're not our garbage man's favorite people right now. He he he. Fortunately, my parents' association has approved them for a garage sale in the next couple of weeks, so we've got an outlet and opportunity to find some homes for a few things as well as hopefully make a few dollars. It's exhausting though, let me tell you!
Anywho, I have been working on a project here and there for a baby shower gift that I need in a few weeks. Nothing much yet to photograph, but hopefully there will be over the next few days. I did, however, make a quick card for my dad's birthday last Friday.
Surprisingly, there are NO Cricut cuts on this card at all. Very simple, but masculine. All the papers are from the CTMH Victory Paper Pack (X7150B), the cupcake stamp is from the stamps that come with the CTMH Art Philosophy Bundle (Z1686), and the sentiment came from the CTMH Just A Number stamp set (D1514). I just used old-fashioned colored pencils to color in the cupcake wrapper, my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, and some ribbon from my stash. Dad loved it :-)
Well, I've gotta go baby-sit Hubby for a bit. He's doing the colonoscopy prep and I need to make sure he's not cheating and eating real food... lol. Be sure to check back tomorrow. Let's just say June's campaign from CTMH is going to be hard to pass up, and I'm even going to sweeten the deal :-)
Oh, and (hopefully) I'll have a huge, shocking surprise here in the next few days. I'm so excited and can't wait to share!!! G'nite all my lovely srapping brothers & sisters :-)
Hope things get better. Great card
